a ThOuGhT...

I always enjoy hearing a feel good thought for the day. One of my favorites that seems to apply to everyone at sometime or another is "Life is like a warm shower, just when you get the water just right. Someone has to come along and flush the toilet on you!" I think whatever the situation may be, things can be going great, then all the sudden something has to change. Whether it be school, a relationship, work, or serious illnesses just when you think that you have conquered it, from out of no where something comes up and it changes everything. Would it not be nice to have the shower always stay warm no matter what the situation is.

    I like the thought Jess! I guess having the toilet flushed once in a while when your showering really helps ya appreciate even more when the water's warm... and maybe makes it seem all the warmer!

    Thats a really good quote, and definatly applies to my life as well as many. As I thought about it though I came to the conclusion of how lame my life would be without a little hardship. Some of the greatest lessons of life can be learned when you've fallen at the end of your road and all you can do is pick yourself up and keep pushing. I'm 100% speaking for myself when I say I am greatful for all the trial and experiences in my life. Its tough, but there is always a valuble lesson.

    I always go by the philosphy of what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. As much as I love the warm water, I don't think I would've gotten this far in life if it hadn't been a little cold at times. If everything were always peachy keen, it would be way to easy to take the blessings of life for granted.

    Opposition in all things for sure!
    I think someone's attitude can really effect the overall outcome of a situation. When someone does flush the toilet on you you can always think "At least my water heater is still working and that water will be back to warm in no time." (Not metaphorically but in actuality my water heater IS broken and cold showers are no fun.)
